Adrienne Kortas
About Adrienne

I help leaders see themselves clearly — and act on what they see.

Coach, facilitator, and speaker, based in Seattle. Fifteen years in leadership development at Target and Amazon before founding Kortas Coaching & Consulting.

How I got here

I loved my corporate career. Across fifteen years in learning and leadership development at Target and Amazon, every role I held became my new favorite, and I was certain I'd never retire from corporate executive development. Then I fell in love with coaching.

Since then I've coached in almost every context — from early-stage startups to the Fortune 500 — and I especially love working with growth-stage companies that are scaling fast. What hooks me is the connection between building self-awareness and putting it to work: the insight matters because of what you do with it. I'm an achiever by nature; these days I'm simply focused on your goals instead of my own. And I pair that drive with presence, powerful questions, and the perspective that comes from working with hundreds of leaders over more than two decades.

Outside of work, I've been married for twenty years and I'm a mother of three teenagers — which means a lot of baseball and softball, a first-hand education in carrying the fullness of a life with less stress and more joy, and a daily reminder of my own growth edges. When I get the chance, I'm with close friends and family, or reading, or on a tennis court, usually with good food and wine somewhere nearby.

Adrienne's expertise in coaching, leadership development, and outstanding facilitation has been beneficial to our culture and to numerous individuals. She brings great knowledge and professionalism, infectious enthusiasm, and genuine warmth to every project and interaction.
